A Broken Path
Many years ago, there lived an old couple on a hill. They had many children of their own, and by now, those children were gone. The couple built their house in the early 1900's, and lived until they were both well over ninety years of age. They both lived long, happy lives, no worries about that. But their house soon became a place where the once normal, average individuals often turned insane, and not-so-average.
Why this sudden change of events? Who knows, but there was something about that house. Something that made the wandering mind shiver at the thought of getting to go inside a house such as that one. Many passer-bys saw the house, and pointed out how beautiful it was, and beautiful was the correct word indeed.
One day, a woman strolled along the path, her mind raging with ideas for the house. She dreamed that one day she could turn this beautiful, gigantic house into a mental institution. She didn't really fancy normal people much, because different people, INSANE people, made her mind go wild. She loved hearing different stories, and different lifestyles. Normal people often didn't have anything to talk about. Correct?
Now, five years later, that woman was successful. She made that house into a mental institution. And what was even better, it was out in the middle of no where. About twenty miles from any town, in any direction. She hadn't started taking patients just quite yet. But soon, she will...
Will you dare show yourself, to the world, and express how DIFFERENT you really are? Everyone is insane in their own little way, and here is the right place to get help, or possibly help others. Just because Mental Institution doesn't have a nice ring to it, doesn't mean that you aren't going to learn from the experience.
