Camp Salem
In the age of the Salem Witch Trials a number of women were accused and hanged for possessing such a gift. Among them was the famous Salem trial of Ebony Luke, a woman who is suspected of witchcraft with no evidence to hold her sentence but a mysterious murder to end her life. The life and death of Ebony Luke was documented in history as Salem’s greatest conquest. Her home and belongings still remain intact and cared for by the Museum of Salem. Every year on the anniversary of Ebony Luke’s death the town hosts a re-enactment of the conquest over witchcraft.
However, unknown to the town of Salem, the conquest of witchcraft has only brought out the magic in families linked to the deaths of many women during the trials. A woman, by the name of Elizabeth Williams, has taken up residence in New Salem and has offered her services as a Summer Camp Co-ordinator. Thus is the beginning of Camp Salem. The Camp was built upon the field where the body of Ebony Luke was found many years ago. It draws the attention of many people seeking guidance in the way of the craft. To the jurisdiction of Salem, the Camp is home to the youth to learn the ways of teamwork and living in the wilderness. To those who come and are sworn to secrecy, the camp teaches the magic’s of the old world.
But is it possible that the awakening of this old magic’s have caused an imbalance in the world of Salem. Has it awakened the spirits of the past? No one really knows what has happened, but something has happened to disrupt the peaceful life of Salem. No one knows what will happen next at Camp Salem, but that is what makes the place so enticing.
